ABOUT ANTI CLIQUE

notes:
I started anti-clique because I meet a lot of people and organisations who feel they have been rejected from participation in a network on grounds other than quality. Closed networks compromise quality and progression, by their very nature as closed.
  • Anti-clique is not a membership scheme. It is not a club. You cannot join. It is not a cool nor is it a desireable position.
  • To wear an anti-clique badge, or to place it on your website etc., is a declaration of your personal recognition of the value of open systems and networks.
  • Anti-clique is a celebration of inclusiveness, open creative networks and good quality.
  • It is owned by everyone for everyone, regardless of their position on closed networks.
  • The responsibility for maintaining these core ideas is also everyone's.
  • Individuals and organisations can use the graphics on this site freely, to express a shared concern against conspicuous or insidious exclusion.
  • Anti-clique is an available, open and flexible concept. It can be developed, expanded, honed, distilled or discarded.
These core concepts laid out by Graeme Walker, National Freepost, 07.01.2009
